The bank's month starts on the first. Yours starts the day you get paid. MoneyLeft works everything out on your cycle: what you have already spent, what is about to be charged, and what you really have left between now and your next payday.
No bank connection. You do not need an account to use it: an account is for syncing and for Pro.
For iPhone with iOS 17, and from the same purchase on Macs with Apple silicon and Apple Vision Pro.
Everything you need so you do not reach the 25th wondering where the money went — without spreadsheets, and without handing anyone the keys to your account.
A bar in three parts: what you have already spent, what is about to be charged, and what you really have left. Updated with every transaction.
The number that countsYou set the day you get paid and the app stops thinking from the 1st to the 31st. Daily budget included: how much you can spend today.
From your own paydayThey record themselves on the due date, with a reminder before the charge. If you fall behind, it offers you the missed ones one at a time.
Automatic chargingA ceiling per category and your savings goals, with progress always in view. Nothing is blocked: it tells you how you are doing, it does not tell you off.
Category by categoryYour net worth over the last twelve months and the forecast for the next twelve, scrolled month by month with your finger. With the lowest point spelled out.
Backwards and forwardsYour data sits in a file on the device, protected by the encryption of iOS and by Face ID. It only leaves if you turn syncing on yourself or export a backup.
Face ID includedNet worth at the top, the current cycle in the middle, and the week's diary below. You do not have to go looking: what you need to know is the first thing you see when you open the app.
Twenty-five seconds, no sound.
Amount, category, done. Expenses can be searched by description or category, filtered by type, and scheduled ones show up as incoming before the day even arrives.

Every account with its own icon and colour, and a single net worth that adds them all up. You can leave one out of the analyses without deleting it: it stays where it is, it simply makes no noise in the sums.

On the due date the transaction appears by itself and the balance updates, with a notice saying what was recorded. A finished instalment leaves the active list and joins the completed ones.

The breakdown by category, the comparison with the period before, and the signals read off the current cycle. Numbers from your own data, not generic advice out of a manual.

Your net worth over the next twelve months, worked out from what you typically spend in each month of the year — not from a flat average. Scroll with your finger and see, month by month, how far you move from today.

The free plan is not a timed trial: it is the app, complete, for ever. Pro adds the reading of your numbers over time.
Your data never ends up behind a payment. Export and backup stay free for ever, and going past a limit neither blocks nor deletes what you have already created: it only stops you creating more until you move to Pro. If the subscription ends, your data stays intact.
No, and you could not even if you wanted to. MoneyLeft does not connect to any bank and asks for no banking credentials: you enter the transactions yourself, or import them from a CSV file. That is a choice, not a technical limit.
No. The free plan works without signing up, and the first-run guide does not ask you to. An account is for finding the same data on more than one device and for using MoneyLeft Pro, which is registered to your account.
It stays on your device, in a file protected by the encryption of iOS. It only leaves the phone if you turn syncing on yourself, or when you export a backup wherever you decide. We sell data to nobody and there is no advertising tracking.
Yes, and it stays free for ever even without Pro. You will find export and full backup in Settings, under "Your data". A backup can be restored on another device.
Nothing to your data: it all stays where it is. Only the Pro features switch off, including automatic syncing. Whatever you had already created beyond the free plan's limits is not deleted.
Any iPhone with iOS 17 or later. If you change phone you get everything back: by signing in again with an account, or by restoring an exported backup.
MoneyLeft is an iPhone app, and as such it also downloads onto Macs with Apple silicon (from macOS 14) and onto Apple Vision Pro (from visionOS 1): the interface stays the iPhone one, in a window.
To be straight with you: on Mac and on Vision Pro the app is available but I have not tried it myself, because I have neither of them. On iPhone I do, with every version. If you use it on a Mac or a Vision Pro and something does not add up, write to me: that is the quickest way to get it fixed.
Yes, and it is the whole point of the app. You set the day you get paid and every calculation — how much you have left, the daily budget, the cycle summary — runs from that day to the next one, not from the first of the month.
MoneyLeft tells you how much you have left now, and how much you will have left in a month.
