Need help?

From the app, with your account: Settings › Tutorial and support › Write to the developer. Before you send, you see everything that goes. If you write in another language, I will answer in English.

Or write to me by email: I answer personally, usually within a couple of days. Please mention your iPhone model and your version of MoneyLeft (you will find it in Settings › Privacy and terms › App version).

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account to use the app?

Yes, a free account: all you need is an email and a password, and the app asks for it when it opens. It is for the backup copy, which gets your data back if you change phone, and for MoneyLeft Pro, which goes hand in hand with the account: it is needed both to buy it and to use it, and it is what lets you find it again on any phone you sign in to.

Where does my data end up?

It stays on your device, in a file protected by the encryption of iOS. A backup copy is also kept on your account, on a server in Europe: it lets you get everything back if you change phone, and with Pro it syncs your devices. Otherwise it only leaves the phone when you export a backup wherever you decide.

I have changed phone: how do I get everything back?

Sign in with the same account: the app offers by itself to recover the backup copy, which you also find in Settings: tap the card with your email at the top, then “Your devices”. If the copy on your account is switched off, you need an exported backup: Settings › Your data › Export a full backup.

How do I cancel MoneyLeft Pro?

From your Apple Account settings, or from the "Manage subscription" button inside the app. If the subscription ends, your data remains intact: only the Pro features are switched off.

I have lost data / the app looks empty

Do not delete anything and write to me straight away: if you have a backup or the backup copy on your account, it can almost always be recovered.

Are the forecasts financial advice?

No. They are statistical calculations on your own numbers, done on the device. Decisions about your money remain yours.
