Do I need an account to use the app?
Not for the free plan: it works on your iPhone without signing up. The account exists so you can find the same data on more than one device, and for MoneyLeft Pro, which goes hand in hand with the account: it is needed both to buy it and to use it, and it is what lets you find it again on any phone you sign in to.
Where does my data end up?
It stays on your device, in a file protected by the encryption of iOS. It only leaves the phone if you turn syncing on yourself, or when you export a backup wherever you decide.
I have changed phone: how do I get everything back?
If you had turned syncing on, sign in with the same account and the data comes back by itself. Otherwise you need an exported backup: Settings › Your data › Export a full backup.
How do I cancel MoneyLeft Pro?
From your Apple Account settings, or from the "Manage subscription" button inside the app. If the subscription ends, your data remains intact: only the Pro features are switched off.
I have lost data / the app looks empty
Do not delete anything and write to me straight away: if you have a backup or syncing is on, it can almost always be recovered.
Are the forecasts financial advice?
No. They are statistical calculations on your own numbers, done on the device. Decisions about your money remain yours.
